Amazon GameLift Servers now available in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur!

Hi everyone,

We're excited to share that Amazon GameLift Servers is now available in two new AWS Regions: Asia Pacific (Malaysia) and Asia Pacific (Thailand)!

With these new regions, you can now deploy your GameLift fleets even closer to your player base in Thailand and Malaysia, as well as neighboring areas. This means lower latency and smoother gameplay experiences for your players in Southeast Asia.

This launch includes support for both EC2-based and container-based GameLift Fleets, and all the core features you're used to - like FlexMatch matchmaking, FleetIQ for Spot instance savings, and auto scaling. It's everything you need to run your multiplayer game servers reliably and cost-effectively, now available in more places your players are actually playing.

We've heard from many of you that local region support is critical for expanding into fast-growing markets, and we're happy to deliver on that.
