This article announces the availability of new Gen6e stream classes on Amazon GameLift Streams, providing greater flexibility for high-fidelity game streaming and GPU-intensive applications.

Today, Amazon GameLift Streams launched two new high-performance stream classes: gen6e_pro and gen6e_pro_win2022, designed for customers looking to maximize GPU performance for AAA-quality game streaming or GPU-intensive applications.

These Gen6e stream classes provide a full dedicated NVIDIA L40S GPU with 48 GB of GPU memory per stream session, offering 2x the GPU memory compared to Gen6 stream classes. This makes them ideal for streaming experiences that require high frame rates at high resolutions, such as graphically demanding AAA titles, Unreal Engine 5 applications with advanced rendering features, or enterprise 3D visualization workloads.

Gen6e stream classes are available today in US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon), Europe (Frankfurt, Stockholm), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo, Seoul).
