How can I activate a BAA agreement for my organization using AWS Artifact?

Short description

AWS BAA agreements are required for some organizations that are subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). HIPAA compliance safeguards protected health information (PHI). You can use AWS Artifact to manage agreements for your AWS account or for all accounts in your organization if you use AWS Organizations. For more information, see Managing agreements in AWS Artifact.

Resolution

Follow these instructions to download and accept the AWS BAA agreement with a single AWS account or multiple accounts in an organization for AWS Organizations.

In the AWS Artifact console, the Agreement state is now Active.
