Tape Gateway - Is CMK encryption supported during tape auto creation?

Dear all,  
  
Allow me to ask some questions about CMK encryption in tape gateway as the following:  
  
Since   
   * CMK encryption is a supported encryption in tape gateway

   * Virtual tape auto creation is also supported, and starting from 2020/04/30

I'm wondering that is it possible to support tape encryption with CMKs by default while enabling tape auto creation?  
  
If not, how to achieve this goal? because tape encryption can only be through API call, and what I think the possible way to do encryption is using CloudWatch + Lambda to do, but seems that there is no metrics related to tape creation events.

Thank you for your feedback and interest, today we do not support CMKs with automatic tape creation. Like you said, you can create a solution on your own using a lambda by using a listTapes API call combined with a CreateTape call
