AWS Opensearch cluster is in "processing"

Question

Our Opensearch cluster is stuck in "processing" for more than 8 hours now & does not seem to be recovering. I am not able to make any changes because of this. My cluster is in **EU-WEST-2(London)** region. How do I get this domain to go back to normal?

This seems a case in which AWS Support should be able to help you.

Your best next steps would be to open a Support case, in case you have not yet a Support subscription, consider to upgrade to [Developer Support or Business support](https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/plans/) depending on the urgency of your case.

Without looking at the internal logs or having more detailed information on the situation it is not possible to provide guidance, sorry.
