Data that has passed the data retention period for Kinesis Data Streams cannot be restored.
At the end of the data retention period, the data is automatically deleted and cannot be accessed thereafter.
If you need to retain data for an extended period of time, consider storing your data on another storage service (e.g., Amazon S3)
