Worspaces key mapping from macos to Ubuntu Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS

From your description, it seems that you tried to remap command key to windows key on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS workspace but was mapped to ALT key.

By default, the Windows logo key on a Windows keyboard and the Command key on an Apple keyboard are both mapped to the Ctrl key when you're using the Amazon WorkSpaces macOS client application.

You have already tried running the command ‘defaults write "com.amazon.Amazon WorkSpaces Client" remap_cmd_to_ctrl 0’ to change this behaviour.

According to the below documentation, remapping the command key to the Windows logo key for use with Windows WorkSpaces.

As on MacOS, ‘command+ tab’ switches between applications, not windows, hence as an alternative for ubuntu workspaces as well, you can use ‘Option + Tab’ to switch windows within the Ubuntu workspaces.

On my Amazon Linux Option+Tab works and command+C for copy but on Ubuntu it doesn't. When I check virtual keybard command is mapped to Ctrl and option to ALT. But when I'm in apps it's not working. I can't ALT+Tab to switch windows I've added several keyboards to test it as visible on attached image
