Decrease EC2 Volume

Could someone please help im new to AWS and I need to decrease the volume from 1.8TB to only 300gb. Also the website we have on AWS is only 30gb so why would the server me coming in at 220gb

Hi,

If it is an EBS volume attached to your instance, you have to create a new one of the size you want, attach it to same instance and transfer content to it before releasing the big one.
