I need to integrate Nova sonic my voice agent pipeline with multilingual support. Can i know what's the timeline for availability of Czech and Arabic with Nova sonic. What are the alternative solution available on aws for above two languages?

Amazon Nova Sonic currently supports five languages: English (US and UK), Spanish, German, French, and Italian. Each supported language offers expressive voices, including both masculine and feminine-sounding options. For English, the available voices are Tiffany and Matthew for US English, and Amy for British English. The other supported languages have the following voice options: French (Ambre and Florian), Italian (Beatrice and Lorenzo), German (Greta and Lennart), and Spanish (Lupe and Carlos).

There is no publicly available information about a timeline for Czech or Arabic language support for Nova Sonic. The documentation explicitly states that while Nova Sonic has been trained on multilingual data, it is officially released and supported only for the five languages mentioned above. Using Nova Sonic with other languages like Czech or Arabic may produce responses of unpredictable quality, with potentially degraded speech clarity, content accuracy, and voice expressivity.

If you have specific language requirements beyond the currently supported languages, you would need to contact your AWS representative to discuss your needs and potential timing of the language expansion roadmap. The documentation does not mention any specific AWS alternatives for Czech or Arabic voice capabilities in the context of conversational AI agents similar to Nova Sonic.
