Input local timestamp in timestream

Question

Hi, I realised that my timstream data time does not reflect my local time. Is there a way to convert to a local timestamp? Thank you.

My local time is UTC +8.

Answer

Amazon Timestream only supports UTC at this time, but you could use from_iso8601_timestamp(string) to format the results in a query with your time zone. There is an example of how you might use it in this stack overflow article.

Hi

Currently, time-stream does not support Timezone. The only way available if the input time different from UTC is to add or subtract to offset before input into table.
