Archive failing

Archival jobs are failing. I was told to disable the lifecycle policy and then tier data back to the original tier to allow the snapshot chain to be utilized. Currently the snapshot chain is spanning multiple tiers and causing the failure. How do I tier back the data to the original tier from the console?
