EC2 Instance Connect is unable to connect to my instance

Question

Hi all,

Im beginner on AWS, i dosen't know why each time im trying to connect to my instance i got this error : Failed to connect to your instance
EC2 Instance Connect is unable to connect to your instance, Ensure your instance network settings are configured correctly for EC2 Instance Connect. For more information...

On my Inbound rules i made 3 rules :

- SSH ------- port------22---------custom adress
- HTTPS -------port ------- 443 -----  custom adress
- All Trafic -------port ------- all -----  custom adress

Answer

You will need to add the IP addresses of the Instance connect service. See: [Task 1: Configure network access to an instance](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ec2-instance-connect-set-up.html#ec2-instance-connect-setup-security-group).
