AWS SSO redirect support

We've just enabled AWS SSO with our corporate gsuite as the IdP, mainly to reduce confusion in trying to get our less devops-y staff into things like our cloudwatch dashboards in a read-only way. We've saved them from having to keep track of another account with SSO (great!), but unfortunately it looks like there's no way right now to get them where they want to be without landing on a nearly empty user portal page, and drilling a couple clicks down into the lone AWS Account "app". Is there any hope for a way to more fully customize the SSO user portal in the future, to avoid having to interact several times with a page containing only one viable option? The ability to provide a redirect link in the querystring specifying where to take the user immediately after signing in, would also fit the bill.
