How do I add domain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association to lightsail instance?

I am looking to add **domain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association to lightsail** instance but when I do so, I get 404 not found on the url. I think the server restricts anything outside wp-content to be publicly accessible.

Any thoughts?

Correct, this is where the file is located but I am unable to access it

The file should reside in: "/opt/bitnami/wordpress/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association". Is that what you are trying?

Since you are getting a "404 not found" error, is it possible that the file was not placed in the correct directory?  
I think it should be placed in the web server's document root.  
I can't say for sure without looking at the web server's configuration file, but I think that with bitnami WordPress, "/opt/bitnami/wordpress" is the storage location for static files.
