How to filter Xray traces by subsegment time?

How to filter Xray traces by subsegment time? I can use annotation to mark a particular segment of interest, but this would require rebuilding and a deploy. Since subsegment time data is already calculated by AWS, is there a way to filter traces by segment time?

The best mechanism I know would be the time ranges on the Console to filter on the "Traces" and "Analytics" pages.  If the context trying to filter all traces, I don't think there's a way to to get more specific filtering on segment start/end times, the only metric available for filtering here is the "age" of the trace itself.
