Failed to copy Deep Learning AMI

I try to copy the following AMI in order to create a base image for us and add volume encryption:

AWS Deep Learning Base AMI GPU CUDA 11 (Ubuntu 20.04) 20230123

However, when I press the "Copy AMI" button, I get the following error:

Failed to copy ami-0244068ccc23d9843 You do not have permission to access the storage of this ami

I assume that however the AMI is public, its volume is private. Is it intentional?
