route53 and ELB latency

Hello, I use an ALB on the front of my application (deployed on ECS). And I use route53 in order to set elb as an alias record. When I call my application url directly from ELB by his dns it take few ms but when I call my application url over route53 it take 10s!. I don't uderstand why?

bellow show how is configured on route53 my record

myapp.env-dev.aws.domain.com	A	Simple	-	dev-ecs-alb-xxxx.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com.

If I call directly dev-ecs-alb-xxxx.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com it work correctly but if I call myapp.env-dev.aws.domain.com it make 10s to give me a response

It appears to me your "dev-ecs-alb-xxxx.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com" is a regional endpoint, so when you call the application regionally which means your are close to your application endpoint, is low latency.

Route 53 endpoint is a global endpoint (there are also some other services of AWS are global endpoints), so when you call "myapp.env-dev.aws.domain.co" - it goes to the global endpoints whicy may take some ms. That is my understanding. Please advise me if you have any other findings.
