The article you're following provides a detailed guide on how to install a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate on your WordPress instance in Amazon Lightsail. Here's a brief summary:

Prerequisites: You need to have a WordPress instance in Lightsail, a registered domain name with administrative access to edit its DNS records, and a Lightsail DNS zone for managing your domain’s DNS records.

  • Install Certbot on your Lightsail instance: Certbot is a client used to request a certificate from Let’s Encrypt and deploy it to a web server.

  • Request a Let’s Encrypt SSL wildcard certificate: This certificate allows you to use a single certificate for a domain and its subdomains.

  • Add TXT records to your domain’s DNS zone in Lightsail: This verifies that you own the domain.

  • Confirm that the TXT records have propagated: You can use the MxToolbox utility to confirm that the TXT records have propagated to the Internet’s DNS.

  • Complete the Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate request: Certbot saves your SSL certificate, chain, and key files to a specific directory on your WordPress instance.

  • Create links to the Let’s Encrypt certificate files in the Apache server directory: This involves creating links to the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate files in the Apache server directory on your WordPress instance and backing up your existing certificates.

  • Integrate the SSL certificate with your WordPress site using the Really Simple SSL plugin: This plugin helps to integrate the SSL certificate and also configures HTTP to HTTPS redirection.

  • Renew the Let's Encrypt certificates every 90 days: Let’s Encrypt certificates are valid for 90 days and can be renewed 30 days before they expire.

However, without the specific error message, it's hard to provide a solution. Could you please provide the error message or describe the issue you're facing in more detail?
