Local web app for AWS IOT

Question

before asking this question, i have tried to look for other same questions but can not find answer
I want to build a check in / check out time web app for rooms using mqtt protocol, it also must work in case of internet disconnection.
i will use AWS IOT greengrass to work with my local IOT device. 
My question: 
1. How can i host a web that can access to local database from AWS greengrass ?
2. How can i sync local database with online database in AWS ?

Hi Tuan,

you deploy your applications to AWS IoT Greengrass in the form of components. Several components are already provided by AWS. There are also [community components](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/greengrass-software-catalog.html) which include a web server and database.

How to sync a local database to the AWS cloud depends on the database you use. One option is to use [Greengrass stream manager](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/stream-manager-component.html).

For your requirements you can also take a look at [AWS IoT SiteWise Edge](https://aws.amazon.com/iot-sitewise/sitewise-edge/). It comes with a local monitor portal and local data store, works in offline scenarios and syncs data to the SiteWise data store on AWS.
