Find secret key

Greetings,
I opened AWS console using IAM > Users > User
I opened the Security credentials tab where I can locate the Access keys.

I used the AWS CLI typing:
**aws configure get aws_access_key**

There was no output in the console??
Can anyone please assist to locate the Secret Key?

Answer

The `aws configure get` command retrieves information already configured by `aws configure`.
Therefore, if you have not set up the CLI using `aws configure` on the machine where the command is executed, you cannot get the information.

The secret access key can be downloaded only when it is created. It is better to re-create it and download a new key.
