No option to create a widget in IoT Device Simulator

Question

I'm following this AWS workshop https://iot-analytics.workshop.aws/2-streaming-workflow/1-iot-device-simulation.html and they instruct to create a Widget but there is no option to create a Widget. They ask to go to Modules -> Widgets -> Add Widget but there is no such thing as Modules. Why can't I see it?

Answer

Looks like v3 of IoT Device Simulator solution launched in November 2021 and gave the user interface a facelift. What the workshop text describes as a Widget is now a Simulation in v3. Device Types define the profile of a simulated device, then they are used in a Simulation.
