Amazon Linux on Cloud9

Amazon Linux on Cloud9 is woefully out of date. When will we see new versions supported? Is there a work around to get a newer release? The main issue is node.js 16 is deprecated and 18 is not supported. At some point, I expect CDK to stop functioning as well.
