How can we remove Port 25 in lambda function?

Dear Team,
I have been trying to remove this port 25 from lambda function. I went through the document available here as well. I requested for removing port 25 from the request form, but still i did not get any request id on mail for reference. 
Our service is just verifying the mails if exists or not. we are not sending mails as well. Thank you!

there is more then filling the form for port 25: please, have a look at https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/ec2-port-25-throttle to follow the complete procedure in order to lift this restriction.

Hi Didier,
Thank you for responding. Yes I have associated your function with VPC and then used a NAT gateway to give internet access to my Lambda function as well. I followed this link "https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/ec2-port-25-throttle " already. But I after filling up request form, I did not receive any mail with request id/reference ticket id.
Kindly help. I think my issue in not logged into the support team as I do not receive any request id.
