SES moved out of sandbox, but still no emails to unverified allowed

1

Hi all, as the title already says I am out of the sandbox mode with the simple email service and if I try to send an email to an external person/email, than I get the error message: "MessageRejected: Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region EU-NORTH-1: customeremail@email.com"

How can I activate this?

I can confirm, that I checked all of the following points:

  • Confirm that the identity that you're sending emails from has a verification status of verified, not pending or failure.
  • Can confirm

  • If your email address is verified, check that the email address on the message that resulted in the "Message rejected" error is correct.
  • The E-Mail is correct

  • Check whether your account is in the Amazon SES sandbox for the AWS Region that you're using to send emails.
  • Can confirm, that it is out of sandbox mode

  • Confirm that your email-sending method is using the correct AWS Region.
  • Can also confirm.

  • Confirm that you're connecting to the correct Amazon SES endpoint.
  • I am also connecting to the right SES endpoint

  • Confirm that the sender email address is also added and verified
  • Can also confirm that.

  • This is probably an obvious answer; but is that a cut and paste of the exact error message? ie. does the error message contain that email address above: customeremail@email.com ?

  • I copied the Error message and the given email Address is also in the Error message included

  • Can you send to verified users? I have the same issue. I am out of the sandbox. I can send to verified identities. I cannot send to any unverified identities.

And the reason I was asking is that seems like a generic email address; is that email address under your control or one of the ones you are trying to use? If not, then the only thing I can think of is that in the code you are using to send the email is must have that email address coded somewhere; I don't think it would be in the error message if it wasn't being passed into the service.

  • Yes, the email address is like a placeholder in the error message. The address is variable and is an unverified address. Currently I use the aws SDK to send the e-mail. There I do get the error.
