¿Cómo etiqueto un volumen raíz de una instancia creada por CloudFormation?

Quiero etiquetar el volumen raíz de mis instancias de Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) que creé en AWS CloudFormation.

Resolución

Para añadir etiquetas de Amazon EC2 a los volúmenes adjuntos, añade PropagateTagstoVolumeOnCreation en la plantilla de CloudFormation y establece su valor en True.

Para etiquetar un volumen raíz, sigue estos pasos:

  1. Abre la consola de CloudFormation.

  2. En el panel de control, elige Crear pila: Con nuevos recursos (estándar).

  3. En la plantilla Requisitos previos: preparar, selecciona Crear desde Infrastructure Composer y, a continuación, elige ** Crear en Infrastructure Composer**.

  4. Elige Plantilla y , a continuación, usa la plantilla YAML o JSON en el editor de código.

    Importante: Agrega las etiquetas deseadas en la propiedad Tags de las etiquetas AWS::EC2::Instance.

  5. Selecciona Crear plantilla. A continuación, confirma y accede a CloudFormation.

  6. Elige Siguiente.

  7. En Nombre de pila, introduce un nombre para la pila.

  8. En la sección Parámetros, introduce la información en función de las necesidades de tu entorno, incluidos el tipo de instancia, el par de claves de EC2 y la imagen de máquina de Amazon (AMI).

  9. Elige Siguiente.

  10. En la sección Opciones, introduce la información de tu pila. Después, selecciona Siguiente.

  11. Activa la pila de CloudFormation para crear un recurso de AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM). Si aceptas los términos, selecciona la casilla Acepto que AWS CloudFormation pueda crear recursos de IAM.

  12. Selecciona Enviar.

Etiquetado del volumen raíz de la instancia

Sigue estos pasos:

  1. Abre la consola de Amazon EC2.
  2. En el panel de navegación, en la sección Elastic Block Store, elige Volúmenes.
  3. En el campo Filtro, introduce la etiqueta que configuraste en la pila de CloudFormation para confirmar que el volumen estaba etiquetado.
