How do I restore a CloudHSM cluster from a previous backup?

Short description

CloudHSM periodically makes a backup of your cluster, and also automatically creates a backup when you delete an HSM. The backups are stored in an Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) bucket in the same AWS Region as your cluster.

If you don't need your HSM, you can delete it. When you are ready to use that HSM again, you can create a new HSM in the same cluster as the HSM that you deleted. If you deleted your cluster, you can create a new one from the backup. For more information, see AWS CloudHSM cluster backups.

Follow the instructions for Creating AWS CloudHSM cluster from backups. Then, create an HSM in that cluster.
