How do I create a App Runner instance with security permissions

Question

I'm trying to create an App Runner service and the screen won't let me complete the process because it says the "Instance Role" is Required. But it also says the "Instance Role" is optional. 
And the menu does not display existing instance roles even when one is created and the refresh button is pressed.

Any ideas on how to proceed?

Hello.

In my environment, I was able to start it without setting an instance role.  
Doesn't it improve if you refresh the screen and try the deployment settings again?

If the issue does not improve, try creating an IAM role with the following trust policy and setting it as the instance role.
