Doesn't the Java SDK support the functionality of 'aws s3 sync'?

Question

I attempted to synchronize the bucket using "software.amazon.awssdk.transfer.s3.model.DirectoryDownload" and "software.amazon.awssdk.transfer.s3.model.DirectoryUpload"
but it seems to serve only the purpose of simple overwriting. 
However, looking at the result messages after using the "aws s3 sync" command, 
it appears that identical files are not overwritten. 
I'm curious if there are any plans to incorporate the sync functionality of the CLI 
or if I can implement it within the functionality provided by the SDK.

I checked the issues on GitHub, but I couldn't find any feature requests.  
If you want it as a feature, I think it would be a good idea to make a feature request on GitHub.
