Application level Authentication and Authorization

Dear experts,

We are in the process of building a GxP application from scratch and want to use AWS Cognito and AWS Verified permission service to have Authentication and Authorization functionality.

Reason to use these services as Vendor does not have plan to build User and Access Management in the application .

User base : Internal user and External User User Location : Global User role : Multiple

My question : Is this a right approach and if yes, can someone guide me to the resources to find the implementation details of these two service.
