Quicksight vGeolocation isuals not showing Base map

Question

I have a bunch of lat-long values that i have created geo coordinates with and plotting it on a "Points on map". While all the points appear correctly relative to each other, there is no basemap. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try reloading the QuickSight dashboard. Sometimes, cached data can cause issues with loading external resources like base maps.
