Federation on Amazon Managed Prometheus

Hi, we have set up an Amazon Managed Prometheus workspace for ingesting our application metrics. We'd like to collect these metrics on the AMP instance as well as forward them to Prometheus servers that we run on our internal data centers. The best option for that would be to use the federation endpoint (https://prometheus.io/docs/prometheus/latest/federation/) exposed by Prometheus servers, however I couldn't find anywhere in the documentation for AMP about the federation endpoint and trying to access it with my AMP workspace URL does not work. Is there any way to make it work, or are there plans to enable it in the future?

Also, maybe there is some other way to achieve this use case? Remote writing capabilities from the Amazon Managed Prometheus server instance could work as well.
