User Defined Functions

Question

I'm using PartiQL to access DynamoDB.
Would it be possible to develop my own UDF's and use then in my PartiQL query?
If it is possible what would be my next step (I'm new in this area)

Hi, 
DynamoDB only supports a subset of the PartiQL language. UDF's are not currently available. You can see a full list of available features [here](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazondynamodb/latest/developerguide/ql-reference.html).

Oh I forgot one additional question.
The restriction is in DynamoDB, which means that an alternative like Athena would not help either?
