Step function - EmrActivity

Question

Hi,

I have an EmrActivity step on the data pipeline that backups the dynamoDB and stores it in S3. I would like to use this functionality on a step function or something other than Data Pipeline. If this is possible, how do I accomplish this?

You could probably use the `export-table-to-point-in-time` https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/dynamodb/export-table-to-point-in-time.html

The SDK operation can be invoked from StepFunction, ASL would like something like this.

StartAt: ExportTableToPointInTime
States:
  ExportTableToPointInTime:
    Type: Task
    End: true
    Parameters:
      S3Bucket: S3Bucket
      TableArn: MyDynamoDBARN
    Resource: arn:aws:states:::aws-sdk:dynamodb:exportTableToPointInTime
```

Point in time recovery MUST be enabled on the DynamoDB table.
