Is it possible to check the connection after setting the AWS DMS target endpoint as a server of another Cloud Service Provider?

if I understand correctly you are looking to replace dms task target from aws oracle to mariadb. please note dms target endpoint engine cannot be changed. you need to use a fresh endpoint and fresh task. but again we need to make sure test and run full load and cdc
