Running a query on Athena and received an error.

I'm guessing I don't have access to the datalake I'm querying, BUT I've already onboarded my AWS accounts to access the database. Can someone tell me where I can check these permissions?Enter image description here

When you get Insufficient Lake Formation permissions on a table, I would suggest that you check the permissions for the user you are using to the database and the table in Lake formation. Here are the instructions to check your permissions.

If you haven't granted permissions under Lake formation, you would have to grant at the database level () and at table level (select and describe permissions). Try the below steps and let me know if you still face any issues:

STEP 1: Database access

To grant access, please Go to "AWS Lake Formation" > "Data Lake permissions"

Choose the IAM users and roles from drop down

Choose Named data catalog resources

Choose database (dont choose tables) and provide "Describe" access (or more as needed)

If it is not resolved, proceed to Step 2

STEP 2: Table access

To grant access, please Go to "AWS Lake Formation" > "Data Lake permissions"

Choose the IAM users and roles from drop down

Choose Named data catalog resources

Choose Table(s) and provide "Select" & "Describe" access (or more as needed)
