permission denined(public key)

Question

while using scp method , permission denined(public key) err occures . "Permission denied" error occuring when attempting to SSH using the specified private key.

Answer

This error typically means that the public key belonging to your private key is not stored on your instance. Assuming you are using standard SSH packages, please make sure that your public key is stored in the file ~/.ssh/authorized_keys (~ being the home directory of the user you are using to log in) on the instance.
