Sorry to hear this. JPG/PNG drag and drop should work. Will look internally whether there's a reason it might not be working.

By the way, screen grabbing a PDF typically creates a low quality copy of the image and reduces the performance you'll see from Textract. Instead, try converting the PDF to a JPG or PNG with Mac OS preview (or equivalent on Windows/Linux).

You can also put the PDF directly through Textract if you use our Asynchronous API. We're working on adding this functionality directly to our console.
