Is it a good idea to host client client-facing applications run on only the IPv6 address enable machine?

  1. What are the challenged if hosted a client facing applications on only IPv6 enable machines?
  2. Is there any ftp/sftp challenges to connect IPv6 machine from IPv4 machines (only allow the specific IPv4 IP's to connect to the machine)?

An IPv6-only server can only be reached via IPv6, so not by IPv4-only clients.

Some advanced mapping services exist, but I have no idea if AWS offers those in a form that can serve outside IPv4 clients from an IPv6-only EC2 server.
