all my private keys got deleted

Please help!! I created key pairs for Access Keys, Cloudfront key pairs, and X.509 key pairs. I put the key pairs in word docs. I was in the process of trying to lock the files when the files disappeared. I have run many recovery software programs, even purchased one, to try to locate the files but they have vanished.

I know i can't retrieve the keys, what can i do? Do i make new keys? If so, what is the process.

ANY help at all is greatly appreciated. I have a pretty important need for the keys at this moment.
