Link SAP BW Hana to Redshift without moving the data

Hello,

IHAC who is currently working with Glue and Redshift and developing the first pipelines loading data from S3 into the Redshift cluster. 
They were recently trying to see if there is the possibility to link this data with data in SAP BW Hana without moving it, however they could not find any solutions apart from pushing the data into S3. 
Are there any additional options we could offer?

Start with **Redshift Federated Query** if they need real-time access to SAP BW HANA data from Redshift, as this requires minimal setup and leverages existing AWS infrastructure. Redshift offers federated query capabilities that allow you to query and analyze data across different database systems

Evaluate **SAP HANA SDI**  if they primarily need to access Redshift data from within SAP applications, as this uses native SAP tools. Your customer can use SAP's own tools to access Redshift data from within SAP BW HANA:
* Create virtual tables in SAP HANA that represent data from Redshift
* Query Redshift data directly from SAP applications
* Perform joins between SAP BW HANA data and Redshift data within the SAP environment

Several third-party data virtualization tools support both Redshift and SAP HANA
