DMS Migration project creation console does not show any source data providers

I am trying to create a DMS migration project, but I cannot select any source data provider as the selection list is appearing as empty. Even though I have two data providers in the relevant region (US-EAST-1) neither of these are appearing the source data provider selection screen. On the other hand, both of those data providers are appearing as valid options for the target data provider. The two data providers I have are both Aurora Serverless MySQL databases .
