How to enable AppArmor in Amazon Linux 2

When executing this: systemctl --version  
I get:  
systemd 219  
_PAM _AUDIT _SELINUX _IMA -APPARMOR _SMACK _SYSVINIT _UTMP _LIBCRYPTSETUP _GCRPYT _GNUTLS _ACL _XZ _LZ4 -SECCOMP _BLKID _ELFUTILS _KMOD +IDN  
  
When executing this: aa-status  
I get:  
-bash: aa-status: command not found  
  
Can I check how do I enable AppArmor in Amazon Linux 2?

Answer

Just checking if AppArmor is still unsupported in the latest Amazon Linux 2 release.   
Does anybody have a link to docs or release notes that mentions this?

We do not support AppArmour in Amazon Linux 2. We recommend that you use SELinux for role based security restrictions.
