Will I be billed for active KMS (AWS managed service) and RDS (default) service after closing my free tier account on 4/30

0

My free tier account is about to expire on (4/30), and I just realized that I had 140 services running. I was able to terminate 135 of them , now I have 5 active services running KMS (3 AWS managed keys) and RD ( 2 default.sqlserver-ex-14.0). It's saying that I can't delete them because they are AWS managed and default services . I want to know if I will be charged after closing my account, or if there is way to avoid being charged.

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Your AWS managed KMS keys are not charged to you for storage, as long as they are not being used. If they are being used, you'll be billed per API call. Source: https://aws.amazon.com/kms/pricing/

It looks like under "RD", you're referring to the RDS Default Parameter Groups (more on those here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/USER_WorkingWithParamGroups.html). RDS Parameter Groups are not billed. Source: https://aws.amazon.com/rds/pricing/
