SCP Support for AWS Transfer for SFTP?

We have setup the AWS Transfer for SFTP service and we are able to successfully connect via sftp. We have a need for the service to accept transfers via SCP, but initial tests are unsuccessful. Does the service not currently support transferring files via SCP, or is this a configuration issue on our side?

The service does not currently support use of SCP. We have added your request to our backlog and will prioritize among other items. Is there flexibility in your application to use SFTP instead of SCP?
