How to remove member accounts from Organizations?

I have few member accounts in my organizations which I want to remove. I have completed steps like payment details and other stuffs to make it act like a standalone account but still I am unable to remove this account from Organizations. It throws me error like this "**admin (#138550646085): ConstraintViolationException
This operation requires a wait period. Try again later."** Please note that this account is not delegated administrator account.

Was the account recently created? Per the [API docs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/organizations/latest/APIReference/API_RemoveAccountFromOrganization.html), if so you will need to wait up to a few days before you can remove the account (see the `WAIT_PERIOD_ACTIVE` reason code under `ConstraintViolationException`).
