How to retrive AWS Lambda Logs Older than the retention period?

I have an AWS Lambda function configured with a one week Log retention period. However, I now need to access logs that are older than one week. Since the retention policy has already deleted these logs, is there any way to retrieve or access them?

Afraid not. Once the logs have been purged then there is no way to retrive them I am afraid
