Suddenly, All workmail accounts across all organizations failing

This appears to be a bug with AWS workmail and Route 53. We set up a new domain and then set it to use amazonses for future use.

After several hours. We then discovered that all email addresses across all domains do not receive email. Senders to our addresses receive a bounce message. We’ve tried setting new passwords but this does not have any impact. Checked The AWSapps browser based client and we are able to successfully log in and send. But accounts are not able to receive. All accounts and addresses return a bounced message when sent to.

Ironically, we used a different company to set up our AWS account. To prevent highly critical failures from happening again, we moved our email services to gmail.
