@Greg_B
I am connecting to the MQTT broker on port 8883 with an X.509 certificate. This is my IoT policy:
{
"Version": "2012-10-17",
"Statement": [
{
"Effect": "Allow",
"Action": "*",
"Resource": "*"
}
]
}
I am following this guide:
http://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/Arduino_Genuino/securely-connecting-an-arduino-mkr-wifi-1010-to-aws-iot-core-a9f365 but I am trying to connect an Arduino Portenta H7.

Hi Atharva. Please refer to our Diagnosing connectivity issues documentation if you haven't already.
If that doesn't help you resolve the issue, please then provide device logs and other relevant information about your connection such as protocol (MQTT or MQTT over WebSocket), port (8883 or 443), authentication type (X.509 certificate or something else), your IoT policy etc.

Hi Atarva. Thanks for the link. The steps in that guide seem OK, but it depends on the CSR sketch being supported for your device and your device having an ATECC608A. I take it that it does?
I note in the comments that other users have had difficulty getting the format of the certificate string correct. Please review the comments and re-trace your steps. Please share the device logs. Please also enable CloudWatch logs (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/cloud-watch-logs.html) if you haven't already, and share any info from there.
