AppStream 2.0 Storage Persistance - not working with R

We're using R over Apptream 2.0

I have home folders enabled and have now also enabled Google Drive.

Both the Home folders and Google Drive storage does persist however, with the:

1. Home folders: when you start a new session the filepath changes which means anything you've coded or any libraries you've built (in R in this case) then no longer exist as it's a new desitination.
2. With Google Drives it looks to remain a consistant path D:\Photonuser..... but R studio doesn't recongise the file and re-open the project and persist the project files.

Is there a way to fix this or maintain the file path with some form of storage so that R studio can continue to recognise files and libraries between sessions?
