Failed to load the jupyterlab-git server extension
In JupyterLab, within a 'SageMaker - New' Space, I am able to successfully install the 'jupyterlab-git' extension, both via the extensions tab (the puzzle piece tab with the menu that says PYPI MANAGER at the top) and via a lifecycle configuration script. I can see the extension under the 'INSTALLED' heading. However, in either case, when the page is reloaded or loaded for the first time, I get the message "Failed to load the jupyterlab-git server extension."
Do you know how this error can be avoided?

Thanks Didier. SageMaker appears to be using JupyterLab 4, so the version is much later. But your answer inspired me to post my question to jupyterlab-git: https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab-git/issues/1237#issuecomment-1887677638
